This system starts with
the “WFSCT”
tags which
are installed on a vessel’s cargo containers. These tags send information about
the condition of the cargo to a data collector or “Data Logger” on board the
ship. This Data Logger can collect data from a large number of chips
simultaneously, and relay that information over long distances – so it works on
any size vessel. The data is then dispatched to an “Access Point” making
information regarding the condition of cargo available to the user. This
information can be accessed from locations anywhere in the world using an
internet based monitoring system.
For the Ship owner, the WFSCT System translates to significant savings in insurance premiums by dramatically improving cargo security, reliability and safety. The system also improves a ship owner’s potential profitability by attracting savvy shipping customers wanting the peace of mind that their cargo is traveling in the most secure environment possible
